Sean Rickman is one of the greatest masters in style which I experienced. Therefore it was a special experience to (not only hear but) see his wonderful drum-playing in a concert. On the most videos he unfortunately is hardly visible. But this recording of the concert of 07/09/02 shows what I searched for: In the track which begins 45:50 minutes after the beginning of the video (·chapter 5·) you can see his playing really well · at first with funny facial expression and later especially impressive during Steve Coleman·s solo. |
