New Year's present - Radio Nova Mix - 1995

Hi all,

As a present for this new year to come, Iv'e added a special stuff in the Archives :

A live session featuring Steve Coleman, Sub Z and Kokayi, held at Radio Nova FM station in Paris.
The recording date should be around the HotBrass Gigs so probably late March, 1995.
Only 2 songs but the quality is very very good ...

You will find it under Metrics Folder, but this is not really a Metrics Recording but rather a free spontaneous improvisation, much in the way of the We Beez Like that CD.

yes both tunes are really great !!
maybe pure jazz fans won't appreciate like i do, cause there's no steve's solo as it can be on other metrics collaboration but as a big fan of hip-hop i can tell you this is some bomb !!
Steve on sax, Kokayi/Sub Z on rap/beat-box alternatively
kind of amazing what those three guys can do !!

and there is some king of very relaxed feel to the tunes also.

Nobody is doint "more" than he can do, everything feels very natural to me.

I like that 2 pieces very much also Very Happy
