Often I’m astonished about the many different things which come together in one person’s thinking and feeling.
Example 1: Scott, I never felt a connection between Steve Coleman, Bob Dylan and Dave Weckl. But I see: In your person the connection does exist.

Example 2: On CD “Invisible Paths” Coleman sometimes jumps between rather deep and high tones. Firstly I thought: I bit strange. But then yodelling came to my mind because I come from the European Alps where yodelling is usual. Now I hear Coleman a bit yodelling and I like that. I guess no one else would combine yodelling with Coleman.

Example 3: My former wife loved Astrology and I read a bit about it. So I know a little bit about these principles and I often discussed with her. But I have not liked this kind of thinking. After all the struggles with her I even began to hate it. - Now just my favourite music is largely inspired by astrological things! That’s really confusing. I never imagined that Coleman’s music is combined with astrological thinking. Firstly I could not believe it when I read about it. But now I think: That’s reality. Many things come together in every person’s thinking and feeling. So it often is very difficult to understand another. Better: We can understand another only partially. That’s a bit sad. But on the other hand: We have to search another and in this way we travel through many human areas.
