performance schedule

For Information I found out this morning that Coleman have four dates in Paris end of august, beginning of september (31/08, 02/09, 03/09 and 08/09).
I'll probably try to go there for one of these dates at least... If anyone's interested to go there around Grenoble or Lyon contact me, we could do some carpool... But we still get time to sort that out !!

I should probably be there working for Steve during the La Villette Festival.
If you can bring a video camera it would be great man.

Also if some other people knows that they will be there, please say it in this thread, this way we maybe could hang together.

I wont be there, Im not working on this tour because ì have other duties but i can tell you that Catania is a wonderful place, the venue is an open air nice theatre, i spent some time last year there with Carla Bley and the people from the venue were very nice too.
Weather is very hot though !

If you can make it you wont be disapointed.

I found the gigs of Steve Coleman at La Villete Jazz Fest in Paris, it will be very interresting. I saw that Doug Hammond will be at the same festival at the same time, but Steve and him don't play togather... Crying or Very sad

wow, I had a look to through the whole program of this festival.... To me it's amazing !! The program is great !! Magic Malik, Michel Portal, Ron Carter, Wayne Shorter... few names ( but not the least ! ) among others... I'll definitly go there... I'll try to get at least one day off my job...

At least one gig for me in Paris (i'm curious to see one live in "Point Ephemere", such a close place).
Hope i will see Steve Coleman several times in the end of this summer Smile
