| Recently, I downloaded the file MRS Munich 2004 and noticed that there is some lag time between the audio and video. Has anyone else noticed this problem or is it unique to my copy of the file? Within the first couple of minutes it is easily noticable if you pay attention to the vocalist. Is there another copy of this performance floating around? Thanks.

| Hello,
In fact I just noticed that and I have deleted the file until I will fix the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience, will upload the new one soon.

| Dimitri,
After observing the lag between the audio and video in another video (5Elements_padova2002), I suspect that the problem may not be an anomaly of a particular file. My guess is that it actually has more to do with the speed of light and sound in relation to the acoustics of the venues and the distance of the camera from the stage/artist. Early on in this video, I noticed that the drummer hit the snare and the sound isn't heard until several seconds later.
Maybe someone else has noticed the same thing and can confirm this or has a better explaination. In either case I'm still happy to have copies of these recordings. I guess I've just got tunnel vision for the music.

| I have downloaded „Padova 2002“ some time ago and it is quite synchronous.
But “Munich 2004” (which I downloaded a short time ago) is very asynchronous. |

| Hi all,
Let me explain how I do work on thoses tapes and video recording.
There is options :
1- I have some Soundboard or good quality audience recording of the show. 2- I only have the Video camera sound.
In case number 2, there is no diffuclty as I only have to edit the video. in this case there is not chance of out of sync music.
Case number 1 could be tricky depending on the video recorder quality because somtimes the video camera is not really smooth on FPS. When it is the case there is some out of sync parts when I overdub the sound track from soundboard, usually DAT or CD.
Sometimes it is a night mare because there is some drop in FPS very often, so I need to re sync the video with the sound often.
In the case of the Padova recording, I need to check back home but I dont think there is some out of sync parts, which seems confirmed by Manfred. But I will check later and let you know.
