Let me know that I really like all the covers you both made! They are great! (even if I will not use them because I don't burn cds and dvds anymore) |

| thanks Zeruyo !
I must say Laurent is a truly amazing cat when doing covers, I like his work a lot too and even if we dont really use CD format anymore, I really enjoy printing covers.
I've made a kinda book with all covers in photo paper quality, this way I can just go through it and then I choose a concert I want to hear just by looking at the sleeve....
The Meldola sleeve is wicked I think !

EDIT : I've added the links to the website, under the FTP link. _________________ www.stevecolemanarchives.com |

| Hi Dim, may you consider the idea to include sleeves into the corrisponding folder in ftp archive? |

| Hello.
Well thanks for the kind words to both of you and the link on the opening page of the archives site Dimitri. It means a lot... I mean A LOT!
No problem for the late addition of these covers to the site, I know you're pretty busy.
Thanks.

Good Idea Zeruyo...as always
Ill try that asap.
.....
In fact Laurent, that's the minimum I can do to thank you about your amazing work since many years now. I went to your site and I was truly excited to see your stuff and I do understand a lot more your covers now
Of course if you have time to do some more Ill be glad. I do remember we were talking about the La Villette Gigs but so far I can only release the PROVERB TRIO.
On the more downloaded stuff there is the FIVE ELEMENTS in BURGHAUSEN Video....hint..hint...

| hello.
Well Harry, I did other covers for the archives site: - Berlin 94 - Quasimodo club with Metrics - Bamboo Club Toronto 96 - La Courneuve 96, I have to say that I didn't do the watercolor which I used for the cover, it was done by a French painter, friend of mine named Jérôme Dupont (http://www.jeromedupont.com) - Hamburg 03 (I did everything on this one, including the painting) - Burlington 04 You can see them on the audio video listing. Creating visuals for Steve Coleman's music is a very exciting process for me, I play the recording, switch on my antennas, and try to catch the vibe(s) then the visuals start to come, I would not say that it's effortless, but it's always a pleasure. |

| Hello.
Well, it took me 6 months until I found the time to do it, but here it is. You can find a high def version of the sleeve I've created for the Burghausen recording at the following address: http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=4&u=11905972
As usual your feedback are welcome.
When watching this recording, I realized that Charlie is not the only Parker who influenced Steve Coleman music, I think Maceo was also part of the influence. Too funky!
Best.

| Steve Coleman: "Maceo Parker is not a really big influence on my music, this is more talked about by music writers and critics. I just liked his playing when I was younger. James Brown is more of a bigger influence. Charlie Parker and West African music are huge influences on my music and my live. ... Thanks for the cover. |
