| One question. Does anybody know why the talented bass player Kevin Bruce Harris disappeared from the scene? In all my web searches I could only find him working until 88-90 with Cassandra Wilson. He also made two interesting CDs under his name. I would like to track his recent works, if any.

Interesting post. I didn't realize that he dropped off the face of the earth as he did. I've always referenced KBH as I spoke of Coleman with friends. I've got And They Walked Amongst The People, but stopped persuing his music after that purchase...I was a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, it really is quite strange that he seemingly abandoned such an incredible talent. I can't imagine being that good at an instrument and not making any notable recordings. |
