PostSubject: I'm Home!   Mon 11 Sep à 8:53

I haven't read any thread from this forum and am thus introducing myself now, and don't have a feel for any of you here, but my gut feeling is that I'm amongst the finest group of people that I'm going to find on the net.

It is my belief that Steve and his music will only be truly discovered until we are all well beyond death. I believe that the world will only stand up and take notice after his and our deaths....I believe that Steve is just that great. The world wasn't ready for his advanced form of music.

My hope is that you all will not disappoint! I believe that Steve is the greatest musical intellect that the 20th and 21st century has ever seen. Therefore, I have high expectations that we are all followers of him with just as much respect for each other as he has placed into his music. I think he would want that.

Steve is a musical genius!

Dim,

The first ftp download software is for mac and the second is in a "foreign" language to me.

Are there any other pieces of software that I might be able to use? I could try installing the second set of software and try to figure it out. What do you think?

Hello Scott (is it right?)!

My English is bad!!!

My son installed the following software at my PC:
http://www.smartftp.com/index.php?lang=en
It is free for private users and works well.

I’ll try to answer to your very interesting posts.
It’s very nice that you came here.
You animate this forum!

Hello Manfred, and yes, my name is Scott.

No need to worry about apologizing for your English. If you think your English is bad, you should hear my French. You'll hear the sound of silence because I don't know any French!! So instead of apologizing to me, I bow to you for your intelligence of being able to speak two languages. My wife is Japanese and her and her three children all speak both English and Japanese. I am amazed at people who can do that. So no worries pal!

I've downloaded the software and will be installing it later today. Hopefully it won't prevent other users from logging on. If this works, I am going to be an extremely, extremely happy person! I've been dying to see Smitty and these other great drummes play live for years and years.

I'm so happy that I am surrounded by people who know more about Coleman and music than myself. How awesome is this!!!

Hey Dim,

That's right....I haven't been able to download anything else. I've been looking for a second job, moving and am now preparing for a speach at a funeral service this Saturday. Plus, I've got a wife, three kids and a big old house to take care of. I'm just lucky that my wife doesn't complain about posting on this forum.

You have me absolutely pumped to listen and watch. I feel like my spirit has experienced a re-birth!!!!

Thank you, sir!

Hello Sir Dim,

I've had a chance to download a few of the smaller vids and some of the music. So far, the posts here at the site and the video workshops have changed/confirmed my view of Coleman.

We'll be improving things, Dim. My goal is to help you meet your needs with this site, though it may take a while on my end of things.

I appreciate your efforts and I hope you have a great day on the other side of the world!!!
Very Happy
